Selected Works

A selection of works for the future Museum of La Jeune Peinture is presented here. Changes will be made regularly to add interest to the presentation. This selection covers La Jeune Peinture in the years from 1946 to 1958.

It is structured around the movement’s most significant painters including Françoise Adnet, Bellias, Bernard Buffet, Cara-Costea, Simone Dat, Michel de Gallard, Guerrier, Roger Lersy, Bernard Lorjou, André Minaux, Yvonne Mottet, Michel Patrix, Pollet, Paul Rebeyrolle, Maurice Rocher, Gäetan de Rosnay, Michel Thompson and Maurice Verdier.

Many of these paintings are historic, since most were awarded prizes and/or were shown in major exhibitions in this period:

  • Salon de Mai,
  • Salon des Tuileries,
  • École de Paris at Galerie Charpentier,
  • Marlborough Fine Art,
